Hello World,

Not a good week for me. I have been feeling desperate. So I went looking for some inspiration.

At the site: www.inspirationalspark.com/encouragement-quotes.html I found a quote by an unknown author. It read as follows: "When you feel like giving up, remember why you held on for so long in the first place". I think my health issues are creating a bit of depression for me and I am determined to beat this situation. Richard Bach (no date), stated "What the caterpillar calls the end of the world, the master calls a butterfly". Now you have to be inspired by that. I guess the real problem is that I am feeling very unproductive as all of my energy has been zapped by the medications precribed by my physician. Albert Einstein once said, "Strive not to be a success, but rather to be of value". I believe this and try to structure my efforts in life in this direction. Therefore I guess I need to boost my efforts with inspiration since the physical aspect is teetering and tottering. There, I have unloaded a lot in this post and feel better already. The power of the written word is amazing.

I just came from a doctor visit and am slightly confused and a little on the depressed side of life. I am sure I will get over it once I understand things better. I suspected my celiac disease was "acting up" again , so I scheduled an appointment only to discover that my kidneys, lungs, ears and throat are fighting off infection. This I can handle with the proper antibiotics. It is the dreaded "suggested" colonoscopy for people over 50 ( that I had managed to avoid for 2 years ) that now looms in my future. However , I know that celiac can assist in the development of over diseases. Therefore, I know that it would be in my best interest to have a colonoscopy. Oh well, I guess since I don't mind endoscopies, I can look at a colonoscopy as this only in reverse. We must do what we must do and there are brighter days ahead. I will charge on. Downward and upward so to speak. : )

Sring has sprung!!! The home improvement industry has proved it. People were coming out of hibernation to gather all the necessaryitems to kick start their lawns and gardens. The sun was out and it seemed as if everyone coming through the door was smiling and laughing. Generally, people dread yard work, (I am not one of those). However, the beautiful day that the good Lord gave us seem to put everyone in an excited and happy mood. It is amazing how the outside environment effects the inside environment. If the effects of the first signs of spring could be bottled and sold, that's the stock I would invest in.

It has been a hectic day. I justed wanted to post a hello to everyone. I hope the week is getting off to a great start for everyone. I am getting more excited about the research paper as it is starting to have a definite structure to it. Reading discussion class discussion post has been interesting and informative. There are a lot of good topics and I am looking forward to reading some of these papers. Good luck to everyone on theirs.

It's Saturday and I am behind in my school schedule. Obligations and shedule changes at work have made for a very exasperating week. However, I will not be deterred. I am looking forward to learning how to manipulate my blog for attactiveness and accessibility. The sun is shining and it's going to be a great day!

I have been reading other blogs and enjoying the reading. I love comp class, but am having trouble motivating myself to becomemore involved in my algebra class. It seems like I am missing the component that makes it interesting. If anyone can throw a new light on the subject of algebra, I would greatly appreciate the input. I think I am about to get desperate.
